Does your dog or cat seem to have "nighttime parties"?  Are they active at night? Do they wake you up at night?  This may be due to a confused circadian rhythm induced by synthetic lighting.

An early morning outside walk can help your pets circadian rhythm by telling them this is when we wake up and then another walk at sunset well let them nighttime is coming.  For cats, it is important to open ALL windows covers (shades or blinds) which will help regulate their circadian rhythm.

Modern indoor lighting has a significant impact on human and pet circadian rhythms.  It is good practice to turn off or dim room lights after dinner.  Synthetic, LED or florescent lighting can contribute to circadian confusion in humans and pets.  These "blue lights" tell our systems to wake up versus sleep.
